Huawei Launches New Data Storage Products at Conference

On February 20, Huawei held a new year data storage product launch conference, where it released a new data lake solution and new all-flash storage products for the commercial and distribution markets. The products are aimed at scenarios such as game acceleration, film and television editing, and outdoor operations.

One of the highlights of the conference was the release of the eKitStor Xtreme series of high-performance M.2 flash memory modules by Huawei, boasting a read speed of 7400MB/s. These modules are available in four specifications: 512GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, with an official claim of a “high-quality granule rate” reaching 99.999%. Additionally, the modules are said to improve performance by 15%, lifespan by 10%, and reliability by 30% with the support of three major algorithms.

In addition to the high-performance M.2 flash memory modules, Huawei also unveiled the industry’s first AA architecture entry-level all-flash NAS storage OceanStor Dorado 2100, a newly upgraded SAN storage OceanStor Dorado 2000, and a SAN & NAS integration support OceanStor Dorado 3000. To meet the demand for large-capacity all-flash and backup scenarios, Huawei also launched the OceanStor 5310 capacity all-flash memory with a density of 1.5PB/2U.

The release of these new products marks Huawei’s commitment to providing high-performance and reliable data storage solutions for various industries.
