The second edition of the Master in “Insurance Innovation” organized with Compagnia di San Paolo and Collegio Carlo Alberto of Turin kicks off in October

Second edition of the master in “Insurance Innovation” organized by the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and Reale Mutua, an initiative that aims to encourage the training of new professionals in innovative fields, in response to the acceleration of the digital transition in the insurance world. The project, unique in Italy, is promoted with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and is designed and implemented by the School of Management and Economics of the University of Turin and the Master’s and Permanent Training School of the Politecnico di Torino, in partnership with the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

The Master is organized in full-time mode and lasts 12 months, will end with an internship of at least 3 months in the partner companies of the initiative, with the possibility of job placement in one of the realities. The commitment of Compagnia di Sanpaolo, in line with the 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, looks to the new generations and supports the initiative to provide adequate responses to the training-employment needs of the insurance sector, useful for coping with the technological transition underway.

The training offer is organized into four platforms, with face-to-face and remote activities: the Incoming Platform offers differentiated teaching modules for each cluster of graduates to build a personalized training path; the core platform based on the fundamentals of the insurance sector, with a cut on ESG guidelines (environmental, social and good governance factors); the innovation platform, focused on big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, cyber security and emerging technologies; finally, the active platform, which provides practical experience, thanks to internships or project work experience, under the supervision of a company tutor.

Over 400 hours of lessons, with a team of teachers made up of internationally renowned academics, representatives of the institutions, managers of the sponsoring companies of the initiative, figures engaged in digital challenges. With the aim of developing professional skills that can be spent in the various organizational areas of an insurance company, attentive to technology and innovation.

The lessons are held, as far as possible, in the presence, at the Collegio Carlo Alberto in Turin or on e-learning platforms available to students. For the second edition of the Master, 25 availabilities are foreseen with the possibility of accessing scholarships for income, merit and for non-resident students. Also in the field was the “COVID-19” scholarship, an aid recognized to all participants by the sponsoring companies, to support investment in training and education in this period of health and social emergency.
