«The first Mission of the NRP concerns the themes of Digitization, Innovation, Competitiveness and Culture. Overall, the resources allocated to this Mission are almost 50 billion, of which 41 financed with the European Facility and 8.5 with the national complementary plan, equal to 27% of the total resources of the Plan. The main objective is to promote and support the digital transformation and innovation of the country’s production system ». Prime Minister Mario Draghi in communications in the Chamber to the Chamber on Recovery expressed the hope that in this way «our girls and boys can have access to the best educational experiences, wherever they are in Italy. We want our entrepreneurs, small and large, to be able to launch and grow their businesses quickly and efficiently. We want to allow women entrepreneurs to carry out their projects. We want male and female workers to continue acquiring the skills for the professions of today and tomorrow. We want the most lonely or vulnerable people to be assisted by health workers, volunteers and their families in the best and fastest way possible “
Speaking from the first mission of the PNRR, Draghi then added: «We want public administrations and their services to be accessible without obstacles, without costs and without useless waste of time. In short, we want to accelerate the adoption of technology – in the public, in the private sector and in families – to give everyone equal opportunities at the end of the five-year period 2021-26 ”.
