Renault hybrids, the E-Tech Engineered set-up arrives on Clio, Captur and Arkana

Taking as its starting point the main design features that are part of the sporty “RS Line” finish, Renault has just unveiled the new E-Tech Engineered special series which will be available exclusively in its range of hybrid vehicles. All models share a modern and technological look inspired by the 100% electric Renault Megane E-Tech, with the addition of some aesthetic details.

The new E-Tech Engineered finish will be available on the E-Tech Hybrid versions of the Clio, Captur and Arkana models and the E-Tech Plug-In Hybrid versions of the Captur and Megane models.

At first glance, the E-Tech Engineered models differ from the rest of the options in the catalog for the gold color (which Renault calls Warm Titanium), which is proposed on some elements of the bodywork. These include the lower part of the front bumper, the side and rear body moldings and the wheel badges. In addition, the brand logo on the grille and the letters that make up the model name are glossy black. Renault reports that different body colors will be offered for this version based on the vehicles.

In the cockpit we find an approach very similar to that offered externally by the models associated with this configuration. Indeed, some of the interior elements such as the steering wheel, door panels or seats feature a light-colored contrast stitching upholstery. In turn, the ventilation grilles are surrounded by decorative gilded frames. Finally, the lower race of the steering wheel sports the letter E, referring to the French brand’s E-Tech technology.

The E-Tech engineered trim will be available in Italy from June on Clio, Arkana, Megane Berlina and Megane Sporter. Orders for Captur will be opened at a later time.
