The Renault Group has filed the third quarter of 2021 with revenues down by 13.4% to 9 billion euros (-14% on a like-for-like basis), and with global sales showing a contraction of 22.3% to 599,027 vehicles. The French auto group intends to pursue its commercial policy launched in the third quarter of 2020, which leads to an increase in the share of its sales in the most profitable channels and a positive price effect of almost 3 points in the quarter.
“The actions taken to further reduce costs and optimize the valuation of our production allow us to confirm our guidance for the year despite the worsening of the availability of parts in the third quarter and the reduced visibility for the fourth quarter,” said Clotilde. Delboss, Chief Financial Officer of the Renault Group.
