A blaze in Piazza Affari for Safilo which closes at 1,332 euros with a jump of 21.31%, the best stock in the entire Milanese list. The quarterly numbers gave Safilo momentum. Net sales amounted to € 251.4 million, marking + 20% compared to the first quarter of 2020 and + 6% compared to the 1st quarter. 2019 (at constant exchange rates). Adjusted EBITDA was € 25.8 million, margin of 10.3% (2.6% in Q1 2020, 8.1% in Q1 2019).
“Results well above expectations, thanks to the USA and online”, remark the Equita sim analysts who today significantly improved the 2021-23 estimates (2023 ebitda + 10%) and the target to 1.3 from 0.94 EUR.
