After falling below 10,000 units per month for several consecutive months, NIO finally broke 10,000 units again; Xiaopeng Motors has created a result that both monthly sales and cumulative sales in the first half of the year are ranked first among new car manufacturers; ideals depend on ideals ONE is a car, and its total sales in the first half of the year followed that of Xiaopeng.

Specifically, NIO will deliver 12,961 new vehicles in June 2022, a year-on-year increase of 60.3%. This is the first time that NIO has exceeded the 10,000-vehicle mark in 2022, and has created a new record for NIO’s monthly deliveries. In the previous April, the sales volume of Weilai vehicles dropped to a minimum of more than 5,000 vehicles, and the sales in May were only more than 7,000 vehicles, so that the outside world once questioned whether Weilai had fallen behind.

In the second quarter of 2022, NIO delivered 25,059 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 14.4%; from January to June 2022, NIO delivered 50,827 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 21.1%.

Regarding the rebound in sales, Weilai said that at present, the supply chain and vehicle production have fully recovered, and the delivery work in Shanghai and other places is on track. Next, NIO’s second production base in the Xinqiao Smart Electric Vehicle Industrial Park will also be officially put into operation in the third quarter.

In addition, on June 15, NIO’s smart electric medium and large SUV ES7 and ES8, ES6 and EC6 equipped with Alder·Alder intelligent system have been released, and delivery is expected to start in August 2022. In the first camp of the new car-making forces, Xiaopeng Motors has the most stable performance, and its performance in the month, quarter and this year is outstanding. In June 2022, Xpeng Motors delivered 15,295 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 133%. In the second quarter, Xpeng Motors delivered a total of 34,422 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 98%, winning the championship of new car-making power delivery for four consecutive quarters. From January to June this year, Xiaopeng Motors delivered a total of 68,983 vehicles, an increase of 120% year-on-year, and won the semi-annual sales of new forces.

The increase in Xpeng Motors deliveries was mainly due to the resumption of double-shift production at the Zhaoqing plant since mid-May. In terms of new models, Xiaopeng Motors revealed that the Xiaopeng G9 has been registered in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology‘s announcement catalogue, and will start bookings in August and be officially launched in September.

In June, Li Auto also continued to climb, delivering 13,024 Li Li ONEs in the month, up 68.9% year-on-year; in the second quarter, it delivered 28,687 vehicles, up 63.2% year-on-year; from January to June, it delivered 60,403 vehicles, up 100% year-on-year.

On June 21, Li Auto released Li Li L9, a smart flagship SUV for families. Li Auto officially ended its history of only one model.

Shen Yanan, co-founder and president of Lili Automobile, said: “From today, Lili L9 show cars in all retail centers across the country will arrive in stores. As of June 24, 2022, there are more than 30,000 Lili L9 users who have paid a 5,000-yuan reservation deposit. From July 16, retail centers across the country can start test drives of the ideal L9, and the new car will start user deliveries by the end of August.”

The growth rate remains the highest among the new car-making forces.

It is worth mentioning that since the pre-sale of Leapmotor C01 in May, orders have exceeded 62,000 units. After the delivery of Leapmotor C01, the sales volume of Leapmotor vehicles may go up to a higher level.

Several electric brands incubated by traditional car companies have also become new growth poles for domestic new energy sales. Among them, GAC Aeon sold 24,109 units in June, a year-on-year increase of 182%; in the second quarter, it delivered 55,377 units, a year-on-year increase of 79%; in the first half of the year, the cumulative sales volume was 100,251 units, a year-on-year increase of 134%.

However, as sales continue to be hot, GAC Aeon’s production capacity seems to have been unable to keep up. Recently, some consumers who have made a decision have reported in the online complaints about flat vehicles that their new car delivery time has been frequently delayed. At the same time, some new service problems have also emerged, such as some consumers encountering a price increase when picking up a car.

Geely Group’s Jikr Automobile still maintained good results in June. In the month, Jikr Automobile delivered 4,302 vehicles, a decrease of 0.65% from the previous month; a total of 10,769 vehicles were delivered in the second quarter, and 19,010 vehicles were delivered in the first half of the year. Among the new brands launched by traditional car companies, it has performed well.

In addition, the road to new energy transformation of Xiaokang shares is on the right track. In June, Xiaokang Co., Ltd. sold 12,418 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 185.41%. This achievement is close to several leading new car manufacturers; among them, the sales volume of Celis Automobiles was 7,658, a year-on-year increase of 524.12%.

In the first half of this year, the cumulative sales volume of new energy vehicles of Xiaokang Co., Ltd. was 45,622 units, a year-on-year increase of 204.51%. Among them, the cumulative sales volume of Sailis Motors was 21,581, a year-on-year increase of 884.98%; the cumulative production and sales of the M5 under the AITO brand were 25,085 and 24,041 respectively.

It is understood that the brand-new model M7 of Celis Auto will be officially released on July 4. This model is positioned as a luxury and intelligent large electric SUV. With the continuous enrichment of the product matrix of Celis and the continuous increase in product sales, the new energy brand of Xiaokang Co., Ltd. may be further strengthened.
