Salvatore Ferragamo: quarterly revenues up 10%, strong the Asian area

Salvatore Ferragamo reported revenues of € 245 million in the first quarter of the year, up by 10.3% (+ 13% at constant exchange rates) compared to the first quarter of 2020, mainly supported by the Asia Pacific area, which is confirmed as the first market in terms of revenues for the luxury group, up 50.6%. The operating result (Ebit) was positive for 7 million against the -36 million of the previous year. Net profit was essentially at breakeven (-0.6 million euros), an improvement compared to the red of 41 million in the first quarter of 2020, while the net profit attributable to the group was negative for 1 million (-39 million of euros in the previous year).
