The alliance between Sky and Warner Bros. Discovery is strengthened by announcing a new agreement that strengthens their multi-year partnership and brings the discovery + app to Sky Q tomorrow, June 30, in addition to the free and pay channels – Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 – and the on-demand content of the Warner Bros. Discovery group already present on the Sky platform.

“We are very satisfied with this new agreement that consolidates our collaboration in Italy and confirms once again that Sky is the partner of excellence for the main content producers” says Andrea Duilio, CEO of Sky Italia who then adds: “Our strategy aggregation of the main streaming apps on Sky Q thus goes a step further. All this further enriches the choice of quality content for our subscribers who, in addition to the Sky Original productions which are always very popular, can now also find on Sky Q the many discovery + shows, with a truly extraordinary viewing experience ».

The landing of discovery + on Sky Q strengthens our strategy of being present on all major platforms, offering subscribers the best possible experience ».

With this agreement, Sky subscribers with Sky Q will be able to access discovery + directly from the App section or with voice control and find a selection of discovery + content directly in the Q Home. Furthermore, thanks to Sky Extra, Sky Q subscribers will be able to join the plan Discovery + “Entertainment with Advertising” for the first 12 months at no additional cost on your Sky subscription. Many original shows present and arriving on discovery +: from the new Tailor Made – Who has the stuff? with Tommaso Zorzi (available from 28 June) to the awaited new season of Bake Off Italia (arriving on 26 August), passing through the new edition of Matrimonio a Prima Vista (from 15 July), crime programs, documentaries up to the wrestling shows, which are once again available for Sky subscribers.

Contents alongside Sky’s entertainment with the new seasons of Sky Original titles Bruno Barbieri – 4 Hotel (from 30 June on Sky Uno and on demand) and Paola Marella – A dream for rent (from 3 July on Sky Uno and on demand).

The offer that allows discovery + entertainment at no additional cost for the first 12 months is also available for Sky Q subscribers who already have a discovery + account. You can activate the offer by opening the discovery + app on Sky Q, selecting “Activate the Sky offer” and following the instructions. To use the discovery + service, you will then need to enter the credentials of the discovery + account created or associated in offer activation phase.
