Smart working: Aspi employees an hour and a half for the children’s Dad

by admin

MILANO – An hour and a half to devote to assisting children in distance learning. This is what is foreseen in a new agreement signed by Autostrade per l’Italia with the trade unions Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uil Trasporti, Sla Cisal and Ugl Viabilità. The agreement provides that smart working workers can devote 90 minutes to the management of remote teaching for their children, during the working day. The “right to disconnect” – the company explains in a note – will be possible in the morning from 8.00 to 13.00 in this particular pandemic phase.

Each smart working employee will be able to organize their professional activity on a weekly basis, agreeing with the company the times in which to log out. In particular cases – it is explained in the note -, it may be required to support their children in distance learning even outside the morning slot. In the experimental phase, the hours dedicated to Dad’s family management will not have to be recovered by the worker, and will therefore remain the responsibility of the company. The initiative of Autostrade per l’Italia – the note continues – is part of the new policies defined in the company’s Industrial Plan, which provides for strong attention to the enhancement of its 8,000 employees, through innovative forms of corporate welfare.
