We are in a phase of uncertainty and emergency; a further bureaucratic burden, at this moment, we would really like to avoid it ».
We are in an SME in the North-East, mechanical sector, and there is a strong concern for the end of the emergency regime, currently set at 30 April, whose effect, on smart working, is the exhaustion of simplified rules (today to activate agile work is sufficient a unilateral act of the company) which will give way to law 81 of 2017 (which provides, as known, the individual agreement).

Agile work for 3-5 million Italians
The theme is delicate, especially for the numbers involved. According to estimates by the Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano and Randstad Research, in the coming months, agile work will affect an audience between 3 and 5 million workers, confirming itself as a tool that people like, and that has known, during the phase acute pandemic, to combine productivity, safety and work-life balance.

According to estimates by the executive, Italy should reach, with vaccines, the so-called “herd immunity” in the autumn. Could the extension, therefore, of the emergency legislation arrive at 30 September? «I think so – added Nisini -. In this way the companies will have all the time necessary to reorganize themselves ».
The Forza Italia amendment for the extension
Agree Paolo Zangrillo (Fi), member of the Labor Commission of the Chamber, who has an amendment ready precisely to extend the simplified rules of smart working until September 30: “It is a measure requested by companies and is appreciated by workers”, said called Zangrillo. In fact, during the hearing on the Sostegni decree, the CEO of Confindustria, Francesca Mariotti, expressly asked for the extension of the agile emergency work.
