Some Windows 11 users find that the Windows 10 taskbar “returns unexpectedly”-Microsoft Error

by admin

Microsoft has already started to promote Windows 11 earlier this week, not only from Windows Update, but also using other download methods, including the company’s own update assistant. However, it turns out that not everyone who installs Windows 11 will eventually get a perfect experience. Some people who turn to the update assistant actually get a weird mix of old and new systems.

As you can see here in this screenshot posted by reddit user Mastermind1703, his taskbar after installing Windows 11 comes from Windows 10, and the start menu is completely broken and unusable.

Several other people also confirmed the same thing on their devices, and now, there is no known workaround other than installing Windows 11 from scratch.

Microsoft has released a separate ISO image for anyone who wants to reinstall Windows 11, so in theory, using an image to clean install is the least likely to cause problems. At the same time, Microsoft itself seems to provide the necessary steps to install Windows 11 on unsupported devices, although the company does insist that doing so increases the possibility of errors.

Microsoft has not provided any fixes for the above-mentioned errors.
