South decontribution, INPS: 592,000 contracts in 6 months

Fly the South Tax incentive: thanks to the measure introduced by the August Decree, 592,000 contracts were made in the first six months of 2021. In the period, thanks to the boom in this facility, the incentivized relationships together with the transformations totaled 883,596 with an increase of 221.5% on the first half of 2020 and of 112.6% on the first half of 2019.

The “Youth Exemption” continues to decrease: -64.6% compared to 2020 and -76.4% compared to 2019, data influenced by the fact that the authorization of the European Commission is pending on the increase to 100% of the exemption for permanent hiring / transformations for both the Youth Waiver and the Women Incentive, amendment provided for by the 2021 budget law (Law 178/2020). From a territorial point of view, Apprenticeship and Youth Exemption are mostly present in the North, while Decontribution in the South was used for 67% in only three regions: Campania, Puglia and Sicily. The economic sector with the highest number of incentivized relationships is «Wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transport and storage; accommodation and restoration services “, with the exception of Incentivo Donne, for which the sector most interested is” Professional, scientific and technical activities; administration and support services ». The highest percentage of women is found in the sector of «Public administration and defense; compulsory social insurance; instruction; health and social assistance “. Both for apprenticeships and for Southern redundancy, more than 50% of employment relationships are established by companies that do not exceed 15 employees, while companies with more than 100 employees (55%) mostly resort to Esonero Giovani. Only 8% of Incentivo Donne is activated by companies with a number of employees between 16 and 99.
