Stock exchanges today 24 May: EU lists in cautious rise, closed Frankfurt and Paris

by admin

MILANO 12 noon. Restart with a cautious rise for the European stock exchanges with investors looking with optimism at reopening while always keeping an eye on the risk of inflation. The Old Continent, however, moves on a narrow gauge, with the closure of Paris e Frankfurt: London salt of 0.19% e Madrid 0.06%. Case apart for Milano on which the coupon detachment for 45 companies on the list weighs (18 those of the Ftse Mib), which is worth a technical decrease of 0.89% on the general trend of the index. The Ftse Mib thus falls by 0.4% after the first few bars, but net of dividends it is in line with the others.

Positive closing on the Asian side Tokyo (+ 0.19%), which positively discounts the authorization granted to Moderna and Astrazeneca vaccines, up to now not yet administered in the country. Counter the others: Hong Kong marked a slight decline of 0.16% while Shanghai rose by 0.31% e Shenzhen 0.75%.

Positive start for it spread between BTPs and German Bunds: the yield of the Italian ten-year (which moves opposite the price) fell to 1.03% and thus the differential with the German counterparts went to around 115 basis points. Among the currencies there is a euro slightly moved at 1.2189 dollars and 132.59 yen. Dollar / yen at 108.78.
