Stress test ECB, Carige in the rear platoon in the ranking in Europe

MILANO – If Montepaschi closes the platoon of banks subjected to the EBA stress test, Carige is part of the last block of institutions, the one with the greatest losses in terms of capital – according to ECB – in the event of an adverse scenario. In fact, while the EBA subjected 50 large European institutions to stress tests, equal to 70% of the banking system of the Old Continent, the ECB subjected 55 other smaller institutions to a parallel test.
