Suzuki Katana my2022, at Eicma 2021 the new series debuts and the power increases

by admin

Unveiled at the Eicma stand in Milan, the Suzuki Katana arrives in 2022 with a completely revised color range, but above all with numerous updates, both mechanical and in the equipment. The engine, now Euro 5 approved, sees maximum power rise to 152 hp (two more), with a more full-bodied and regular delivery. The adoption of an electronic throttle control (ride-by-wire) offers greater feeling to the rider, who also has new devices available: the selector of the three driving modes Sdms and the “Aprisereno” system, as they call in Suzuki the five-level Stcs traction control can be deactivated. In the transmission department, the Katana sports the “Quick Change” system, which allows you to shift to a higher or lower gear without using the clutch, which in turn now also receives the slipper, which avoids locking the rear wheel in the hardest downshifts, and a less hard lever to pull. Hamamatsu’s engineers have instead chosen not to upset the chassis, which remains confirmed in its successful balance. Already in the price list, the Suzuki Katana my2022 is on sale for about 14 thousand euros.
