Sws, a company specializing in design of tunnels and underground works, become part of Systra, a global engineering and consulting group specializing in public transport and mobility solutions based in Paris. Sws and its staff of 240 people located in Italy (Trento, Turin and Rome) and abroad, become Systra Sws, the Italian branch of the Systra group.The merger of the two groups, thanks to Systra’s leadership in global solutions for the public transport and mobility sector and to Sws’s expertise in tunnel design, at the birth of a European champion in complex infrastructures capable of offering a wide range of services for individuals, operators and contractors.
By joining their forces, Sws and Systra create a unique offer, which fits into a rapidly growing European infrastructure market. Indeed, the European Union invests to support Member States in their infrastructure modernization and development projects, such as tunnels and underground works, which contribute to the creation of an increasingly interconnected Europe without borders.
