Telecom, the assembly confirms Rossi and Gubitosi. Ok to the dividend

Second meeting behind closed doors for Telecom Italia which resulted in the approval of the financial statements and renewal of the board of directors with Bulgarian majorities. “Virtually” 59.1% of the share capital – not a record, but in any case a very high turnout – both the balance sheet and the distribution of the dividend obtained the consent of over 99% of the votes. The remuneration policy and remuneration paid also promoted, with approximately 94% of the votes in favor.

Compact funds on the list of the outgoing board

On the renewal of the board, the funds also compacted on the list presented by the outgoing board – led by the chairman Salvatore Rossi and by the CEO Luigi Gubitosi – which obtained the preferences of approximately 95% of the share capital present. The first and second shareholder – Vivendi (with almost 24%) and Cdp (with almost 10%) – have also joined the board list which includes directors expressed by the French, including the CEO Arnaud de Puyfontaine, and the chairman of the Cassa, Giovanni Gorno Tempini. The Assogestioni list, voted by 4% of the share capital present, obtained the seats reserved for the minority.

Board of Statutory Auditors, outside the Cdp

Three lists had been presented for the board of statutory auditors. That of Vivendi, which obtained 41% of the votes present, expressed three mayors, while that of Assogestioni, with 38% of the votes, expressed two mayors, including the president Francesco Fallacara. The CDP list, with 18% of the votes, did not get any seats on the board of statutory auditors.

Dividend payable from 23 June

The dividend of 1 cent to the ordinary shares and of 2.75 cents to the savings shares will be distributed, in payment from June 23, with coupon detachment on the 21.
