Terna announced the purchase of an asset in the Verona area for a total value of 10.5 million euros. In particular, the agreement concerns 122 km of high voltage power lines owned by Megareti SpA (of which two high voltage lines co-owned with Dolomiti Energia) included in the national transmission network and 2 stations of AGSM Verona (‘South receivers’ and ‘West betting shops’).
The operation, according to the press release, is part of the strategy of the group led by Stefano Donnarumma to unify the national transmission infrastructure, consolidating portions of the high voltage grid owned by local utilities, with the aim of further increasing efficiency and network reliability.
