Tesla reached another milestone in the last quarter. According to data released earlier, its total Q2 delivery reached 201,250 vehicles. This is the first time in the company’s history that the delivery volume in a single season has exceeded 200,000 vehicles, which is a significant increase from the already very good result (184,800 vehicles) in the previous quarter. According to reports, the vehicles delivered this time are mainly Model 3 and Model Y. The high-end positioning Model S and Model X together account for only 1,890 vehicles. There may be factors that buyers are waiting for the Model S Plaid. This new car will not be delivered until June 10, and the initial production capacity is not very high.

According to company boss Elon Musk, Tesla has overcome “many difficulties” to achieve such an achievement. He didn’t elaborate on the specific “difficulties”, but he had previously tweeted that the supply price was a “main” issue. It is worth mentioning that although the delivery volume in the second quarter hit a new high for the company, it did not reach the 231,000 target that analysts had expected.
