Four new fast charging stations in Italy. Tesla has inaugurated four new fast energy refueling zones located in major tourist locations, making the brand’s charging infrastructure more widespread.
Four new stations, three V3
The newly inaugurated Supercharger stations are all in the south of the peninsula and in the islands. The stations of Brindisi, Catania and Olbia are Supercharger V3. This type of columns are the new generation of Superchargers, capable of reaching power peaks of 250 kW: at this capacity, a Model 3 Long Range that recharges at full efficiency can recover up to 120 km in 5 minutes. The Oristano station is a Supercharger V2 with a peak power of 150 kW.

The numbers today
Since 2014, the situation of Tesla charging stations has changed well. At that time, there were only 4 Supercharger stations in Italy, while today there are 43 stations across the country, with nearly 400 ultra-fast charging stations.
In addition, for Tesla owners who want to travel abroad, they can count on Supercharger charging zones in 27 countries in Europe. In Europe and the Middle East, there are over 2,500 seasons with more than 25,000 fast charging stations.
How the charging areas work
Refueling a Tesla-branded car is simple: by entering the destination on the navigator, the car calculates the route autonomously with the included Supercharger charging stops. The driver therefore does not have to worry about planning anything, but only to set off and follow the directions of the navigator.
