The arrest warrant for Windhorst just isn’t legitimate

The investor allegedly did not comply together with his cooperative obligations. It was first recognized that the courtroom issued an arrest warrant. Now a brand new step appeared.

The collectors’ courtroom in Hanover has suspended an arrest warrant for investor Lars Windhorst. This was introduced by the spokesman of the regional courtroom in Hanover on the request of the German Press Agency. The origin is that Windhorst had agreed on a date with the courtroom. The spokeswoman didn’t initially say when this may be.

It was beforehand recognized that the courtroom issued a warrant for the investor’s arrest on May 23. Windhorst allegedly did not adjust to its obligations to cooperate within the chapter proceedings of Projekt IZ Hannover GmbH.

Among different issues, Windhorst, whom the courtroom considers the managing director of the GmbH, didn’t present any data and didn’t hand over the keys, the courtroom mentioned earlier. He did not attend courtroom on April 22 with out an excuse.

A spokesperson for Windhorst’s Tennor Group beforehand confirmed that an attraction had been filed in opposition to the warrant. The arrest warrant is a “court-ordered type of coercion” geared toward persuading Windhorst to testify. Windhorst believes that the allegations that he doesn’t need to fulfill his obligation to cooperate are false.

According to the courtroom, Projekt IZ Hannover GmbH owns 83 p.c of the Ihme Center in Hannover. The Ihme Center is a residential and workplace house at Ihme Banks within the Linden district. For years it has been considered in want of restore. (dpa)
