This study looked at the core size of an application (not including downloadable content). The 10 applications are YouTube, TikTok, Messenger, Facebook, Zoom, Netflix, Instagram, Gmail, Google Maps and Amazon.

Sensor Tower’s data shows that these applications, on average, have grown in scale since 2016, and now require an average of about 2.2GB of storage space to install, while in 2016, they require an average of about 550MB.
