by admin

The new podcast edited by Matteo Bonelli and Matteo Erede is online on Sole24Ore.com and on all free audio streaming platforms Capitali Coraggiosi. A series of interviews with top leaders of Italian capitalism (starting with Franco Bernabé, former CEO of Telecom and manager of many listed and non-top-level companies) to talk about their professional experience and discuss the most common governance problems.

The idea of the podcast stems from the dissatisfaction shared by the two authors, lawyers of the homonymous law firm with the too easy answers that the “orthodox” doctrine tends to give to the governance problems of companies and organizations in general, including institutions and the states.

Matteo Bonelli, author of numerous publications, is scientific director of Modulo24 Società, the complete solution by the major experts on corporate law, for work but also for passion, he has often tried a slightly less conventional approach to the solution of governance problems , studying innovative rules, publishing articles in newspapers, magazines and blogs (including Econopoly del Sole 24 Ore) and then, in 2020, writing a book that tries to explore the problems of governance “outside the [loro] box”.

Matteo Erede, in his role as lawyer and academic, has dealt with corporate governance in the context of some of the most famous corporate battles of recent years, as well as teaching it in his Advanced Company and Business Law course at the University Bocconi, and research, with the publication of various articles and contributions on the subject.

While always keeping in mind the evolution of theoretical thought and the outcomes of the ongoing debate at both national and international level, Capitali coraggiosi aims to create a space in which to listen to the professional experience and personal story of those who live in first person, daily, the problems of corporate governance and other forms of collective action organization: leaders of listed companies, private and public, and investment funds, activist investors, exponents of the banking and finance world – one studied together of extraordinary individuals who tell about themselves and what they have been able to know at the head of complex organizations and who better than anyone can highlight the strengths and weaknesses of governance models.
