Because of the resemblance, some netizens questioned that “Ma Yilong” used deepfake technology to change his face. Deepfake is an advanced technology that allows anyone to modify the video and put one person’s face on another person’s face. . Some countries are stepping up their efforts to crack down on deepfakes because the technology could be misused to spread fake news or cause nuisance.
However, “Ma Yilong” is willing to do live broadcasts to prove that he is “replaceable”. Musk himself joked on Twitter, “Maybe I am paltry Chinese.”
