After the success achieved with the influencer Tommaso Zorzi, The Hundred is ready to increase the number of talents in its portfolio thanks to several agreements in the closing phase and strong investors with solid know-how in the tech and entertainment world such as Leonardo Bongiorno. The media Holding specialized in discovering and investing in the influencers of the future, has closed a capital increase of 5 million euros, aimed at developing new partnerships with the best Italian entertainment talents to help them develop their potential and grow from artistic and entrepreneurial point of view. A milestone that rewards the model proposed by The Hundred: not a classic agency but a laboratory that custom-develops new brands and corporate projects together with entertainers. An innovative concept that allows influencers to access capital and skills to move from the promotion of third party products and services to the enhancement of their own assets.
The operation was conducted by a group of investors led by Nicola Volpi, one of the founding partners of Permira, currently one of the world‘s leading private equity operators with managed funds exceeding 40 billion euros and supported by Antonio Zaccheo, formerly of Permira and Luxottica, new chairman of The Hundred board of directors.
