Young revealed that the upcoming 27-inch screen will be backlit with mini LED material, which may mean that it will have the XDR (Extreme Dynamic Range) brand. Young said in a tweet that the new iMac will be released in the first quarter of 2022.
Young added that the 27-inch iMac screen will use ProMotion, and the refresh rate allows adaptive between 24Hz and 120Hz. At the time of publication of this report, Young did not say what the resolution of the display is, but the current resolution of the 27-inch iMac is 5K.
