In terms of color matching, the new generation of MacBook Air is expected to be on par with the 24-inch iMac all-in-one. @DylandKt expects that the C side of the keyboard will use the same gray and white color as the frame, with full-size function keys + 1080p webcam.
For product positioning considerations, this generation of MacBook Air will miss the SD card reader or full-size HDMI port. As for the custom chip that everyone is paying attention to, it is the M2 SoC that is slightly upgraded from the M1.
Although not as powerful as the M1 Pro / M1 Max on the 2021 MacBook Pro, the M2, which focuses on low-power applications, still has greater value in its existence.
Earlier rumors pointed out that the M2 chip may have 8 CPU cores + 9/10 GPU cores (instead of 7 / 8).
In addition, it is said that Apple is designing a 30W power adapter (MagSafe magnetic interface) for the new machine, and a fanless heat dissipation design will be adopted in the fuselage (continuing the style of M1 MacBook Air).

Considering the thickness of the fuselage design, the 2022 MacBook Air may only retain MagSafe magnetic charging and a full-featured USB-C port, and can connect at least two external monitors.
The white bezel is a rather unusual design and is expected to introduce mini-LED screens, but @DylandKt does not expect to introduce ProMotion adaptive high refresh rate technology.
