MILANO – “Don’t throw anything away. The sea starts here ”warn the manholes in Paris. It is estimated that, every year, 275 million tons of plastic waste arrive in the seas of the world, 100 million only from human settlements less than 50 kilometers from the coast. Of these 100 million, a third would have been, in theory, collected and stowed, but in unsafe and leaky landfills and ends up in the sea anyway.
