As of the close, the Dow rose 237.02 points to 34433.84 points, an increase of 0.69%; the Nasdaq fell 9.32 points to 14,360.39 points, a decrease of 0.06%; the S&P 500 index rose 14.21 points to 4,280.70 points, an increase of 0.33%.

On the disk, the five sectors leading the gains were: footwear and accessories rose by 14%; enterprise groups rose by 7.81%; auto retail rose by 4.08%; gas rose by 2.04%; financial groups rose by 1.88%. Ten stocks including Faway Films, Xiaoying Technology, JinkoSolar, Zhangmen Education, Wunong.com, the financial sector, Chinatown Supermarket, Mobike, Yangtze River Port Logistics, and Aihongsen were among the top gainers, among which Faway Films rose 34.12%; Xiaoying Technology rose 30.28%; JinkoSolar rose 13.58%; Master Education rose 12.07%; WuNong Net rose 11.28%.

164 Chinese concept stocks fell. Ten stocks including Liantuo Group, Missfresh Ltd. ADR, Moxian, Onion Group, Qingke Apartment, Canaan Technology, Manbang, Green Hotel, China Green Agriculture, MoneyGram International and other 10 stocks were among the top decliners, of which Liantuo Group fell 32.5 %; Missfresh Ltd. ADR fell 25.69%; Moxian fell 12.28%; Onion Group fell 7.37%; Qingke Apartment fell 7.32%.

For the European market:

As of the close, the British FTSE 100 index reported 7136.07 points, an increase of 0.37%; the French CAC40 stock index reported 6,622.87 points, a decrease of 0.12%.
