The virtual Porsche of video games

by admin

Designing a hypercar without having to comply with any rules, from limiting emissions to reducing costs. Impossible? No, if it is the new Porsche Vision Gran Turismo, ready to debut on March 4th in the Gran Turismo 7 driving simulator.

The team led by Michael Mauer, head of design at Porsche, has designed a virtual car that on the one hand has strong references to real models such as the Taycan and the 911 and on the other introduces new concepts such as generously shaped wheel arches or the entry into the car via a single block consisting of roof and windshield.

On board the instrumentation features the classic three circular elements, as on 718, but says goodbye to the hands and unveils a new curved holographic screen.

No information on the technical data sheet of the Vision Gran Turismo, except that it will obviously be powered exclusively by electric engines.
