“We intend to restore dividends as soon as the reorganization has brought the expected results.” This is how Pietro Labriola, CEO of Tim, during the conference call with analysts following the 2021 accounts and the presentation of the new plan. “If we return to a positive net profit we could pay the dividend”, specified the new CEO.
TIM closed 2021 with a net loss of 8.7 billion due to write-downs made in the last quarter of the year. The telecommunications company decided to cancel the dividend for both ordinary and savings shares.
