How it looks
The new Yaris Gr Sport can be ordered in a new Dynamic Gray color scheme with a black roof. There are also new dedicated 18-inch wheels with red accents reminiscent of the Gazoo Racing colors and front grille which now boasts a new ‘G’ patterned mesh design. Finally, a new T-shaped diffuser gives an even more aggressive look.
How it is inside
The sporty theme also continues inside with specific logos on the steering wheel, seat headrest, power button and main instrument display. The seats have a brand new Ultrasuede upholstery, while the red stitching is also extended to the perforated leather steering wheel and gearbox. While the door trims, console and steering wheel are finished in gunmetal gray.
Performance
Both the front and rear suspensions have been re-adjusted compared to the “normal” version to offer better performance. The shock absorbers have been optimized so that they react more quickly at low speeds to provide better steering feedback and greater ride comfort. In addition, at the rear, the springs have been optimized to decrease the roll or lift of the wheels during acceleration and braking, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable driving experience.
The electronic power steering of the Yaris Gr Sport has been updated to reduce the delay of the driver’s input, which results in greater precision of the set trajectory and a better driving feeling.
