If the insurance companies investigated all the suspicious claims that their customers report, the savings for the whole system would reach 2.4 billion euros. This is the estimate made by Konsumer in his latest survey, which is based on official Ivass data. According to the association, companies are not doing enough to combat the phenomenon of insurance fraud.
