A Vilnius, in Lithuania, the leaders of the Atlantic Alliance will meet for a two-day summit, a few kilometers from the border with Belarus. Among the topics on the agenda there is the accession of Ukraine to NATO, which will plausibly be postponed until after the end of the conflict, with a series of security guarantees which in the meantime will be provided to Kyiv.
We will also discuss theentry of Sweden in the Alliance, with Turkish President Erdoğan still motivated to maintain the veto against Stockholm; and the supply of arms to Ukraine, with the recent US authorization to send cluster bombs to hold court in the international community.
