Turkey: central bank cuts rates again, lira slips

The Turkish lira collapses after the Turkish central bank (CBRT) cut its policy rates for the third consecutive month. A move that is putting the Turkish lira under pressure against the dollar (the currency is losing around 4% against the greenback). In detail, the Turkish central bank lowered the reference rate from 16% to 15%, matching analysts’ expectations.
