Ukraine, with the war nearly 3 million refugees looking for work. The ILO: “Strong pressure on the countries that welcome them”

ROMA – War in Ukraine is likely to increase unemployment also in countries that welcome refugees fleeing the bombs, as well as in those affected by the direct and indirect consequences of the conflict: from the blocking of grain exports to the rise in prices. It is the prediction ofOilthe International Labor Organization which figures in 5.23 million Ukrainians fled in neighboring countries, mostly women, children and over 60s.
