Unemployment, Italy disappoints the European Union: aid of 1.7 billion spent “little and badly”

BRUSSELS. Italy asks for and obtains more European funds than expected to combat the phenomenon of long-term unemployment, but then fails to spend them all and what it uses does not fully meet the stated objectives. The country system, to the test of the facts, does not go well and the European Court of Auditors asks for corrections. The outcome of the recently published report reveals the limits of the boot, however not alone in this not exactly optimal use of the resources made available through the Development Fund.
