United States: Consumer Confidence (Conference Board) falls in January, but less than expected

In January, the index that measures consumer confidence drawn up by the Conference Board fell to 113.8 points against 115.2 in the previous survey (revised figure from 115.8). However, the figure is better than market expectations equal to 111.8.
