USA: Weekly crude oil inventories fall more than expected

In the week ended December 1, oil inventories in the US fell by 4.6 million barrels, compared to the 0.8 million decrease expected by analysts (according to the Bloomberg consensus).

Gasoline reserves recorded an increase of 5.4 million barrels (estimate +1.2 million), while distillate stocks increased by 1.3 million barrels, compared to an expected expansion of 1.1 millions.
