World Wide Web Technology Comprehensive ReportOn April 25, the vivo X80 series was officially released globally. The vivo X80 series released this time includes three models: X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro Dimensity 9000 version. Among them, the vivo X80 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship platform, and the vivo X80 Pro provides two flagship platform versions of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and the new generation of Snapdragon 8. The X80 series is fully compatible with flagship configurations such as self-developed chip V1+, Samsung E5 AMOLED super-sensing screen, and dual-cell 80W wired flash charging.

At the press conference, Huang Tao, vice president of vivo products, said, “The vivo X80 series is the redefinition of vivo’s flagship. The comprehensive top-of-the-line performance configuration, full-link imaging capabilities, and all aspects of experience are beyond what we have seen. Today, we will meet with you. Let’s all witness the extraordinary chapter of the vivo X80 series ‘beyond what’s seen’.”

According to reports, the entire X80 series is equipped with the self-developed chip V1+, which leads the second-generation dual-core flagship standard, taking into account the two functions of imaging and performance. While evolving the imaging function, the computing power breakthrough is applied in the field of performance and display.

In terms of hardware, the entire vivo X80 series meets the Zeiss T* coating standard. The X80 Pro uses ultra-low anti-ultra-hard AR coating and ultra-low dispersion high-transparency glass lenses, and customizes a 1/1.3-inch GNV oversized bottom sensor; the X80 debuts the Sony IMX866 RGBW outsole sensor to further improve the sensitivity. Combined with the super computing power of the self-developed chip V1+, the night scene preview effect of the vivo X80 series main camera is comparable to that of low-light night vision devices, and the ultra-wide-angle lens and front lens can realize real-time black light night vision function, further breaking through the bottleneck of night scene creation and limit. In addition, the X80 Pro is equipped with the industry’s first ZEISS portrait micro gimbal, which improves the stability of handheld shooting, and the anti-shake angle reaches 3 times that of ordinary OIS.

On the long track of portraits, the vivo X80 series adds Zeiss Cinematic style blur based on the built-in Zeiss four portrait style lens packages (Biotar, Distagon, Sonnar and Planar), with a unique oval blurred spot and 2.39: 1 shooting format for a strong cinematic portrait shot.

In addition, vivo X80 Pro became the first Android model to support XDR Photo technology. Improve the display effect of the screen, covering the whole link of acquisition, processing, display, etc. with ultra-high dynamic range technology; also introduced panning, studio-level texture portrait, texture portrait group photo, 360-degree horizon image stabilization, horizon correction, etc. Proprietary functions that support high-definition portrait and motion blur effects in motion, multi-person group photo enhancement, wide-angle image stabilization and perspective distortion correction.

It is worth mentioning that in the vivo X80 series, vivo and the Dimensity platform have cooperated with self-developed chips for the first time. On this basis, the vivo X80 series has launched GPU Fusion technology, which shares GPU load through multi-chip cooperation, and dynamically allocates resources through intelligent identification of game screen scenes, so as to better solve problems such as performance degradation caused by high power consumption and high heat generation. Balance performance and power consumption, with 120fps dual-core super frame and HDR independent display ultra-clear technology, to ensure a stable frame experience of the game.
