by admin

Challenging the current crisis of tourism and conferences, which will have to end, the Alpitour Group is preparing for the relaunch and assumes the management of the historic hotel located in the Palazzo delle Stelline, symbol of Milan and strategic point in the network of international connections of the metropolis, which joins the Lifestyle collection of VOIhotels, the luxury hotel brand of the Alpitour Group. An investment made at the hardest time for world tourism that wants to be a strong message of restart and rebirth for the country.

VOIhotels is the hotel chain of the Alpitour Group which currently has 21 hotels in Italy and around the world and has two souls: the first with a distinctly leisure vocation and the second lifestyle aimed at celebrating the beauty and historical value of our country. The latter will be enriched by the new hotel of the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan, with the prospect of a complete renovation in the coming years aimed at enhancing its original essence and renewing its key role within the tourist and business circuits, working in close synergy with the Palazzo delle Stelline Foundation, the Lombardy Region and the Municipality of Milan.

The Palace is strongly linked to the history of the city, to the Ambrosian culture and to prominent figures, such as Leonardo da Vinci and San Carlo Borromeo, to reach today’s great personalities, such as Paolo Grassi who founded his School of Dramatic Art. It was born as a monastery, but starting from 1600 it was used as a school and as a place of welcome. Renovated over the centuries, always respecting the original structure, it has maintained the ancient architectural features that still today lend the profile to one of the most important cultural centers of the city of Milan: the stone stairways, the corridors of the cloister and the central magnolia. , which has become its symbol. The hotel consists of 105 rooms, elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort, overlooking the fifteenth-century cloister, a true oasis of privacy in the heart of the most cosmopolitan city in Italy. In this first phase, the prospect is to reopen the hotel from the second half of April, with the hope of a gradual and growing recovery already before the summer.
