In detail, the overseas construction group announced that it has won a new contract relating to the extension works of a section of the I-40 highway in North Carolina. Works that will begin at the end of 2022 and are expected to be completed by 2025. The value of the order – specifies Equita – is 200 million, equal to 2% of the orders acquired expected in 2021.

Webuild, as mentioned, also announced the definitive assignment of the contract relating to the executive design and construction of sections B2 (12.7 kilometers from Lentate sul Seveso and Cesano Maderno) and C (20 kilometers from Cesano Maderno to the ring road east of Milan A51) of the Pedemontana Lombarda motorway.
The assignment of the order had already been announced on March 3rd (the Webuild consortium was the highest bidder) and is already included in the order intake announced with the results of the first half.
On the Webuil project, at the head of the consortium with 70%, he will work with Pizzarotti (30%) and the total value of the order is 1.26 billion, of which Webuild’s share is approximately 880 million. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
