Webuild has definitively formalized the acquisition of 100% of Seli Overseas, a company specializing in tunneling and taken over as part of the Grandi Lavori Fincosit agreement. This completes a further piece of Progetto Italia, the industrial project launched by Webuild as early as 2018 and which will be able to contribute, today even more, even after the integration of Astaldi, to the infrastructural development of the country and to the construction of the works. provided for in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
With this last step, we read in the note, Webuild consolidates highly specialized technical skills in the sector of mechanized excavation of tunnels for underground works. The acquisition of Seli Overseas, which takes effect from 27 July 2021, stems from an offer promoted by Webuild in 2018 and ends with the final award as part of the competitive procedure launched in April 2021 by the judicial liquidator of Grandi’s arrangement with creditors Fincosit works.
