Wendy’s Restaurant in Manhattan’s Union Square Neighborhood Introduces Dynamic Pricing

A Wendy’s restaurant located in Manhattan’s Union Square neighborhood is shaking up its pricing strategy. The fast-food chain announced plans to introduce dynamic pricing for its menu items, starting in 2025. This means that prices for popular items such as hot and spicy chicken nuggets and Vanilla Frosty will fluctuate based on demand.

The company’s president and CEO, Kirk Tanner, revealed the new pricing strategy during an earnings call in February. Wendy’s plans to invest around $30 million in implementing digital menu boards that will display the changing prices in real-time.

“We are always focused on improving the customer and staff experience, and to that end, we are leveraging technology even more in our restaurants,” Tanner explained.
