WindTre reduces unit emissions by 70%

by admin

For those who do not remember, Earth Hour will start tomorrow, the great global mobilization of the WWF that invites citizens, businesses and institutions to turn off the lights for an hour, on 27 March from 8.30 pm. A simple gesture that expresses the common commitment to give the world a sustainable future and win the challenge of climate change. WindTre, a company led by Jeffrey Hedberg, has always joined the event and also collaborated in other ways with WWF Italy. Also this year it participates in Earth Hour and will turn off the lights of all the main offices. The company in collaboration with the WWF promotes the event to customers and employees through the web and social channels and with the involvement of its stores and partners in the dissemination of the campaign.

For WindTre it will also be an opportunity to remember the achievement of the objectives of limiting its environmental impact defined with WWF Italia in 2017, a commitment that has led the company, in three years, to reduce its emissions by more than 70%. CO2 per unit of traffic and 16% in absolute terms, despite the exponential growth of connections by its customers.
