Sina Technology News Beijing time on March 17 afternoon news, social e-commerce platformYunji(Nasdaq: YJ) today released financial results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2021 ended December 31. In the fourth quarter, total revenue was RMB 471.4 million (approximately $74 million), compared with RMB 1,327.4 million in the same period last year. Net profit was 57.9 million yuan ($9.1 million), compared with a net loss of 77.3 million yuan a year earlier. Non-GAAP adjusted net profit was 71 million yuan ($11.1 million), compared with a net loss of 63.1 million yuan a year earlier.

For the whole of 2021, total revenue will be RMB 2,155.4 million (approximately US$ 338.2 million), compared to RMB 5,530.3 million in 2020. Net profit was RMB 132.3 million (approximately $20.8 million), compared with a net loss of RMB 151.7 million in 2020. Non-GAAP adjusted net profit was RMB 188.2 million (approximately $29.5 million), compared with a net loss of RMB 53.3 million in 2020.

怀怀Fourth quarter results:

Total revenue was RMB 471.4 million (approximately US$74 million), compared with RMB 1,327.4 million in the same period last year.

The cost of revenue was RMB 284.9 million (approximately US$ 44.7 million), down 71.1% from RMB 986.6 million in the same period last year.

Overall operating expenses were RMB 195.6 million (approximately US$30.7 million), down 46.8% from RMB 367.9 million in the same period last year.

Operating profit was 3.6 million yuan ($600,000), compared with an operating loss of 21.8 million yuan a year earlier.

Net profit was 57.9 million yuan ($9.1 million), compared with a net loss of 77.3 million yuan a year earlier.

Non-GAAP adjusted net profit was 71 million yuan ($11.1 million), compared with a net loss of 63.1 million yuan a year earlier.

Basic and diluted earnings per share attributable to ordinary shareholders were both RMB0.03, compared with both basic and diluted losses per share of RMB0.004 for the same period last year.

Total revenue was RMB 2,155.4 million (approximately $338.2 million), compared to RMB 5,530.3 million in 2020.

The cost of revenue was RMB 1,343.4 million (approximately US$ 210.8 million), down 65.9% from RMB 3,940.0 million in 2020.

Overall operating expenses were RMB 849.0 million (approximately US$133.2 million), compared to RMB 1,720.9 million in 2020.

Operating profit was RMB 17.4 million (approximately $2.7 million), while operating loss in 2020 was RMB 97.5 million.

Net profit was RMB 132.3 million (approximately $20.8 million), compared with a net loss of RMB 151.7 million in 2020.

Non-GAAP adjusted net profit was RMB 188.2 million (approximately $29.5 million), compared with a net loss of RMB 53.3 million in 2020.

Basic and diluted earnings per share attributable to ordinary shareholders were both RMB 0.06 (approximately US$0.01), while basic and diluted losses per share for 2020 were both RMB 0.07.

怀怀share repurchase

Yunji’s board of directors today approved a share repurchase program. According to the plan, Yunji will repurchase up to $20 million in stock in the next six months.
