A new landmark in the animation capital of a cloud beside Baima Lake
Hangzhou Daily News Yesterday, under the long rain and clear blue sky, the round and white China Animation Museum was like a “lucky cloud” floating on the bank of the white horse lake with clear waters and green banks. This Saturday, the long-awaited animation-themed museum of the country’s first “Guo Zihao” will open to welcome guests and become the new landmark of Hangzhou’s “Animation Capital”.
The China Animation Museum is located on the east side of the Animation Plaza of Baima Lake Ecological Creative City in Binjiang District, with a total construction area of more than 30,000 square meters. It integrates exhibition, collection, education, experience, and academic functions. The furnishings in the museum are based on the theme of “Animation Makes Life Better”, with “anime your reverie”, “anime your memories”, “anime your today” and “anime your future” four major exhibition areas, outdoor projection, 5D cinema, Multi-functional theater, interactive experience hall, animation library and other supporting facilities. At present, the museum has collected more than 20,000 animations, comics, derivatives, and historical materials.
