Finally, the evening will be illuminated by the cinema screen, thanks to the medium-length film Beyond, a journey into the future as it has been in time imagined by the cinema. Made by Andrea Capobianco, Iulm University, Beyond is a docu-film that investigates the relationship between cinema and the future and its ability to help us visualize and focus on our tomorrow.
Saturday 9 July at 10 am we will start again with the playful educational activities dedicated to children, in collaboration with Legambiente section of the Tuscan Archipelago: we will discover the food chain that starts from marine microorganisms, the movements of animals to adapt to changes, we will talk about of plastic and other waste in the sea for a conscious awareness. The evening will give a voice to Future Societies and the role of women in safeguarding the ocean. The evening will continue with the theatrical show “Una savia ragazza. Gianni Rodari and female models “. An unconventional representation of the relationship between men and women that traces, through the texts of Rodari, the five main themes concerning the relationships between men and women: the body, work, the couple, the family, educational models. The show thus manages to keep together the playful and literary dimension, linked to the writer’s texts, and the educational one, linked to family roles and empowerment.
On the morning of July 10, the activities for children and teenagers return. This time we will set sail on a journey to discover time, with our gaze directed towards the unknown future and aimed at understanding the changes dictated by the times of nature and its equilibrium and those imposed by man instead. of art “Landscapes of the future”, in Portoferraio, will open its doors to the last evening of the festival. The exhibition, created in the context of the Arte Acqua dell’Elba Award, is developed in collaboration with the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and will bring to the attention of the public 20 visionary works by 20 young talents from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. In Marciana Marina, at 9.30 pm, Seif will close under the banner of music with the Gaudats Junk Band. A special project by Daniele Guidotti, which sees the band playing home-made instruments.
