Automotive Dealer Day, the restart meeting

Three days of dialogue, discussion and discussions around the world of four wheels. The main theme of Automotive Dealer Day, from tomorrow until Thursday at Fiera Verona, is Business Regeneration. For representatives of car manufacturers, trade associations in the sector, dealers, it will be an opportunity to take stock after two years of pandemic, in the midst of a transition to the electric that has many lights, but also many shadows. And then there is the conflict in Ukraine which, together with the lockdown in China, threatens to block again the sector struggling with interrupted supply chains and shortage of microchips. And the delivery times of the cars are getting longer. Tomorrow at 12 pre-inauguration of the event organized by Quintegia with the Minister for Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti: “The car associations united in the transition”, for a concrete dialogue with the representatives of Anfia (National Association of the Automobile Industry Industry), Federauto (Italian Federation of Car Dealers), Unrae (National Union of Foreign Motor Vehicle Representatives) on an economic sector that is fundamental for the country and which sees almost 39 million cars on the roads of Italy. There are 21 discussion sessions with over 60 speakers who will discuss the current economic and financial scenario, distribution architectures, electrification, the figure of the consumer, the orientation of dealerships towards digitization, gender equality in the company, importance of people within production processes as assets in which to invest, on the role of technology and marketing. Tomorrow we start again at 5 pm with the session “Scenarios in transition” with the participation of Professor Marco Giorgino to discuss the economic and social context of today’s auto business and what possibilities the company has for change. The central theme is how the distribution of cars will change with the transition from dealer to agency, a leap desired by the new European regulations and which car manufacturers are embracing. Quintegia carried out a research, with the contribution of Auto1.com and Nobis Assicurazioni. And we will also talk about the scenario, the pros and cons, of direct selling. Red thread that will cross the three days. Wednesday will first discuss “Car distribution: new architectures” and then in the workshop “New Ber and agency model: what awaits us?” Maria Grazia Davino, head of Stellantis’ Sales & Marketing Enlarged Europe, will explain what the changes will be. On the electrification front, Motus-E, the acronym that brings together all the companies that deal with electricity, you will present the results of the study “Electric mobility: inevitable or not? Analysis from the point of view of consumers “. And the consumer is one of the pivots of the event. Quintegia has drawn up the “Automotive Customer Study” which examines the customer’s point of view and trends in the sector: habits, attitudes, needs and expectations. The level of satisfaction of dealers in the relationship with car manufacturers with the usual DealerStat 2022 will also be assessed. On the people and human capital front, also at the management level of the group, Luigi Mazzola, engineer at the head of the Formula 1 test team of Ferrari. One of the novelties of 2022 is then the innovation that from this edition will have a physical space: the Startup Area, will host new realities that face the automotive world with new solutions and ideas. One of these will receive the Startup Generation Award 2022.
